I’m an approved LCSW supervisor in Texas and Washington State providing online group and individual supervision to LMSWs seeking LCSW licensure and I would love to support you on your journey!

  • Groups meet online on the first and third Fridays of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm.
  • The cost of group supervision is 50.00 per hour (group supervision sessions are 2 hours).
  • Other groups (virtual or in-person) will be formed if more than one person requests a specific date or time.
  • Individual sessions (not required by Texas bhec) are scheduled as needed at 100.00 per hour.
  • I can also provide 15 of the 20 hours needed for EMDR certification

You’ve learned so much and there’s still so much to learn. I remember graduating with my MSW and thinking I didn’t know anything I was supposed to know as a social worker.   If you’re feeling this way, it’s normal and it’s okay.

It’s hard to know which direction to grow in your social work career.  Social work is so varied, which is great, but also daunting.   Achieving LCSW licensure can help you towards a career that you love.

Supervision groups will meet for 4 hours per month and will include case consultation, ethical dilemmas, diagnostic cases, the 5 stages of social work practice, ASWB exam preparation, and more.

You’ll benefit from my experience with:

  • Populations: Children, teens, adults, families, couples, unhoused, neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+
  • Modalities: AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, couples therapy (Gottman, EFT, Developmental Model and Relational Life Therapy), EMDR certified and Consultant in Training, DBT skills groups, case management, safety assessment and planning.
  • Settings: County crisis systems, hospital social work, emergency room mental health evaluations, utilization management, wraparound intensive services, transitional housing, community mental health, program management and private practice.

Per BHEC guidelines, supervisees are required acrue 100 hours of supervision and 3000 work hours in no less than 24 and no more that 48 months. Hours accrued in non-clinical settings may be used to satisfy the requirements of this rule if the supervisee works at least 4 hours per week providing clinical social work. This means that if you work at least 30 hours a week and wish to get your license in 24 months, you would need at least 4 hours per month of clinical supervision. Before beginning supervision, you will need to provide your job description, written approval by the employing agency, and a signed supervision plan.
